The impacts of climate change; combined with global economic crisis in the wake of COVID-19, and war in Ukraine are all being acutely felt amongst the poorest communities. Families struggle to survive - incomes rarely rise above a couple of dollars per day, and food insecurity is an all-pervasive threat to lives and livelihoods; with women and children being particularly at risk.
Self Help Africa is working directly with these families so they can rise to meet and overcome these challenges.
