Self Help Africa (SHA – formerly United Purpose) Malawi is an international non-governmental organisation working to create opportunities for lasting improvement in peoples’ lives. We work in partnership with others to support a range of livelihoods and food security, WASH and health, sustainable energy and gender equality programmes reaching over 1,000,000 people a year across Malawi. Self Help Africa is implementing a Charity Water funded Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)Project in Dowa. In line with this, our organization plans to outsource the services of borehole drilling in Dowa district.

How to apply:

• The eligible bidders should be in the borehole drilling specialist’s category for drilling of 63 new drinking water boreholes (AFRIDEV Hand Pump Equipped) in selected villages of Dowa District, Lot 1: 21 Boreholes and Lot 2: 21 Boreholes and Lot 3: 22 Boreholes). The estimated drilling period for these Afridev Boreholes is Two (2) months. Each bidder is free to bid the whole 3 lots.

• Business Registration Certificate
• National Water Resources Authority certificate (Drilling and Construction)
• National Construction Industry Council Certificate
• Malawi Revenue Authority Taxi Clearance Certificate
