Self Help Africa is making appointments to a number of new senior positions, following a management restructure announced by CEO Feargal O’Connell.
The restructure, which was approved by the Board of Directors at their recent quarterly meeting, responds to a desire to put into place a strong leadership structure to oversee the delivery of the organisation’s recently launched five year global strategy, ‘Sustainability & Resilience in a Changing Climate.’
Appointments will be made to leadership of four new directorates – a Director of Finance and Operations, Director of Public Engagement, Director of International Programmes and Director of Impact, Strategy and Policy. A Head of Governance and Strategic Initiatives is also being created.
