Self Help Africa (SHA)-Kenya is a dynamic international civil society organization based in Nairobi with its headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, having operations in 8 African countries across East, Southern and West Africa. In Kenya, SHA’s track record stretches over 15 years working with smallholder farmers, farmer associations, cooperatives, and small and medium sized enterprises in the agricultural sector with an aim to help them increase production, diversify diets, income, and agricultural activities by attracting better prices for their products through value addition and improved access to markets.

Self Help Africa, with funding from the European Union is currently implementing a four (4) year initiative under Common Program Framework (CPF) that operationalizes the Ending Drought Emergencies (EDE) strategy in Kenya and aims to Support Resilience for Sustainable Livelihoods through implementation of the project dubbed, “Baringo Resilience Initiative, Nurturing Greater Opportunity” (BaRINGO). The Project is implemented in partnership with Farming Systems Kenya with close collaboration with the County Government of Baringo and National Drought Management Authority. In this Invitation to Tender (ITT) document SHA, Farming Systems Kenya (FSK), Sustainable Agricultural Information Initiative (SAII), the County Government of Baringo and the National Drought Management Authority
