Over the past decade ‘Giving Tuesday’ has become a fundraising phenomenon – inspiring hundreds of millions of people worldwide to lend their support to causes that they love – Self Help Africa included!

Established in the US back in 2012 to support acts of kindness and generosity, we’re grateful to everyone who has supported us with contributions on Giving Tuesday, which takes place in the countdown to the holiday season on the first Tuesday of next month – December 1st.

At Self Help Africa, supporters can mark  Giving Tuesday by investing for family and friends in some of the great virtual presents we’ve developed at our online gift shop.

Gifts like beehives, flocks of chickens,  goats and much more are available, and can have a  life-changing impact on families in need.
