Run the TCS New York City Marathon with Self Help Africa

Self Help Africa is proud to be an official charity partner of New York Road Runners for this year’s TCS New York City Marathon.

The 26.2-mile course takes runners through all five boroughs of New York City, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and finishing in Manhattan’s iconic Central Park. It’s more than a race; it’s a citywide celebration and a model for big-city marathons around the world.

Through this partnership, you have the opportunity to make your miles meaningful. By running in support of Self Help Africa, you will become a partner to entrepreneurs and leaders, primarily women and young people, who are building businesses, creating jobs, and strengthening their communities.

  • A coveted spot in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon

  • An official Team Self Help Africa jersey and exclusive team swag
  • Access to a private WhatsApp group for Team Self Help Africa athletes
