GREENTech4CE is implemented by Self Help Africa with technical support from Imani Development Ltd, Prospero Zambia Ltd, Tandem Circular Consulting.
Self Help Africa (SHA) is a leading international development organisation based in Lusaka with headquarters in Ireland and offices in the United Kingdom and United States of America. Globally, Self Help Africa has operations in 9 countries across East, Southern and West Africa. We work with smallholder farmers, farmer associations, cooperatives and small and medium size enterprises in the agribusiness sector to help them grow and sell more agricultural commodities, improve diets, diversify incomes and make their livelihoods more sustainable and resilient to external shocks. We also work to raise awareness of smallholder farmer issues and represent their interests at policy and institutional level.
On this project, Self Help Africa will provide overall grant management; project contact point; coordinator of all technical inputs; financial oversight; M&E and knowledge management.
Imani Development is a private economic and development consultancy firm that facilitates the process of economic growth and poverty reduction in the developing world. Imani has been active in East and Southern Africa, the Caribbean, South East Asia and the Pacific for over 30 years, advising policy makers, governments, development agencies, regional and international organisations, and the private sector in our core areas of work.
On this project, Imani Development will provide technical leadership on regional value chain opportunities, political economy analysis, design of application process; technical inputs to investment decisions; technical advisory services on relevant SADC/COMESA initiatives; regional and trade policy and member of Programme Management Board.
Prospero Limited is a Zambian registered not-for-profit company that specialises in supporting innovative private sector growth and inclusive economic development.
Prospero’s areas of expertise are investment facilitation, market system development and small and medium enterprise (SME) strengthening. We have teams specialising in several key economic sectors; food & agriculture, tourism & conservation, industry & manufacturing, and business services.
Prospero has crafted an approach to private sector led growth at the intersection of market systems development and SME investment facilitation. We help SMEs to raise finance that allows them to introduce new products, services or business models that deliver profitable growth for the business and has wider, positive impact on sector value chains. We help growth-oriented businesses, wherever they are on the journey from co-financed innovation grants to impact-oriented investment capital.
On this project, Prospero Limited will provide technical leadership on Local Value Chain Analysis (VCA), design of application process; technical inputs to investment decisions; technical advisory services including on CRM & investment strategies, support of programme impact assessment, and member of Programme Management Board.
Tandem Circular Consulting is a dynamic team of professionals from diverse backgrounds, with a wide range of expertise covering Technical, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Project Management and Process Optimization. The company believes in making the world better by working with businesses to adopt more sustainable practices related to the consumption of resources, such as energy and waste. By implementing circular economy best practices, Tandem aims not only to give companies a competitive edge and improve profitability, but also provide a lasting positive impact on society and the environment.
