Before joining SHA in 2023, Courtney worked at BNP Paribas Asset Management, where she served as Global Marketing Events Director. In this role, she successfully oversaw the firm\u2019s global event strategy, executed top-tier client trainings, and played a pivotal role in implementing and driving the adoption of global training programs. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Business Management and Mass Communications from the University of Florida.<\/span><\/p><\/div><hr class=\"x-line e8938-e12 m6wa-e\"><\/hr><\/div><div class=\"x-col e8938-e13 m6wa-8\"><span class=\"x-image e8938-e14 m6wa-d\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/selfhelpafrica.org\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2024\/06\/Connor-web-crop.png\" width=\"225\" height=\"339\" alt=\"Connor bio pic\"><\/span><hr class=\"x-line e8938-e15 m6wa-e\"><\/hr><div class=\"x-text x-content e8938-e16 m6wa-a m6wa-c\"><p><strong>Connor Steele-McCutchen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Connor Steele-McCutchen is the Global Community-led Programming Advisor at Self Help Africa. Connor holds a Master of Science in Social and Behavioural Interventions from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and has more than 8 years\u2019 experience in community organising towards sustainable development &amp; wellbeing across the South Pacific, United States, South Asia, and Africa. As SHA\u2019s Community-led Programming Advisor, Connor provides technical support across all 17 countries where SHA operates\u00a0<\/span><span>to advance new locally-led programming mechanisms and grassroots system strengthening at the intersection of market-driven enterprise, traditional knowledge systems, and scientific practice.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x-col e8938-e17 m6wa-8\"><span class=\"x-image e8938-e18 m6wa-d\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/selfhelpafrica.org\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2024\/06\/Hattie-web-crop.png\" width=\"225\" height=\"339\" alt=\"Hattie bio pic\"><\/span><hr class=\"x-line e8938-e19 m6wa-e\"><\/hr><div class=\"x-text x-content e8938-e20 m6wa-a m6wa-c\"><p><strong>Hattie Carolan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hattie transitioned to a full-time role at SHA in early 2024, assuming the position of Fundraising and Development Specialist. Her journey with the organization began as a Development Intern with the US team, where she dedicated two years to honing her skills in event management, marketing and business development.
