Self Help Africa (SHA) is an International Non-Governmental Organization implementing rural development, sustainable food and livelihoods security programmes in nine countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. SHA’s vision is an economically thriving and resilient rural Africa with a mission to support sustainable livelihoods for Uganda’s smallholder farmers. SHA has been working in Uganda for close to 20 years.
SHA received match funding from UKAid to implement a project focused on increasing household income and livelihood security for women and youth in Teso, North East Uganda. The project is being implemented through partnership with Voluntary Action for Development (VAD) and is targeting 1,000 smallholder farmers in Kapelebyong District.
SHA are looking to procure the services of a Consultant to train Partner Board Members on the knowledge and skills on leadership and good governance to provide direction, control and management to the organisations in order to boost their performance and contribution .
