Self Help Africa (SHA) is an expanding and vibrant international development organisation headquartered in Ireland and the UK, with operations in nine countries across East, Southern and West Africa.
In Kenya, SHA’s track record stretches over 15 years working with smallholder farmers based on facilitating increased food security through increased agricultural production, productivity and returns from sales; and promoting enterprise development. SHA Kenya is implementing a five-year program entitled ‘Strengthening the competitiveness of cassava value chain in Kenya’. The program is being implemented in 6 counties of Kenya namely, Kilifi, Migori, Kisumu, Homabay, Busia and Siaya. The program is co-funded by the European Union.
SHA Kenya require a consultant to assist Self Help Africa to communicate and present updates on its programme implementation and results through the use and display of spatial data in maps and also to provide other relevant GIS support to the programme. The documents are found here:
