Savings and Loan Associations ), aiming to strengthen the economic resilience of communities, especially women, youth and vulnerable households in rural areas of Mozambique. As part of this strategy, the project aims to train community facilitators and support the creation and operation of Revolving Savings and Credit (RSC) groups, contributing to sustainable economic development and the financial autonomy of participants\/beneficiaries. It is in this context that UP\/SHA, in partnership with WFP and JFS, intends to hire a facilitator with proven experience in financial inclusion and savings group methodologies who can provide the required services in the Cuamba district, Niassa Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Operational Planning and Implementation<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To support the implementation of financial inclusion strategies focused on mobilizing communities to join Savings and Credit Groups (VSLG\/As).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement financial inclusion activities tailored to specific target groups, such as households, youth, and young agribusiness entrepreneurs .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To ensure the correct execution of the activities foreseen in the project&#8217;s work plans and schedules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Partnerships and Involvement of Local Stakeholders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To support coordination with local authorities, district services, community organizations, and partner NGOs , ensuring alignment with national financial inclusion policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To contribute to the establishment and monitoring of operational partnerships with financial institutions, cooperatives, microfinance institutions, and mobile money operators .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To facilitate contact between Savings and Credit Groups and formal financial institutions, as directed by the project&#8217;s technical team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Technical Assistance and Training<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To organize and facilitate training in financial literacy, savings, basic business management, simplified accounting, and financial record keeping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To provide ongoing technical assistance to members of Savings and Credit Groups on matters of governance, group operation and good financial practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To support the creation, monitoring, and strengthening of Savings and Credit Groups (VSLG\/As), including graduation processes and linkage to the formal financial system when applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To support the collection of monitoring data for financial inclusion activities, according to indicators defined by the project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To contribute to the basic analysis of financial and social data from groups and partners, identifying challenges and areas for improvement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the preparation of periodic reports, including results achieved, best practices, challenges, and lessons learned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Safeguarding and Ethics<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Comply with protection policies (PSEA \u2013 Protection against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting gender equality and social inclusion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guarantee confidentiality and Management, Economics or related fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with VSLA or similar methodologies (preferred)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of the Mozambican rural context<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A minimum of 1\u20132 years of experience and knowledge of participatory community development methodologies and community engagement is an advantage;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to gather information;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of the internet and Microsoft Windows;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in the local language and Portuguese;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical knowledge of rural areas and the
