A veterinary operation backed by Self Help Africa is providing vital health services to Kenyan herders who have lost more than a million animals to sickness and drought, since last Autumn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Operating in hard to reach areas of the country\u2019s far north, Paves Vetagro is on the frontline in the battle to protect the livelihoods of millions of semi-nomadic herders, who are facing the worst crisis in a generation following a third successive year of drought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Backed by Self Help Africa\u2019s AgriFI Kenya Challenge Fund, Paves Vetagro has set up mobile satellite clinics across West Pokot and Turkana regions in Kenya\u2019s hot-dry far north, and is providing animal health medication and advisory services to herders most affected by the current crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
