The Exhibition calls upon students aged 12-19 years from all over the island of Ireland to showcase innovative science and technology projects. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Self Help Africa coordinates a Special Award at this annual competition. These trips take place at mid-term, and include visits to cultural sites, meetings with school counterparts and visits to communities with whom Self Help Africa works.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Participating schools are required to fundraise to cover the costs of their visit, with travelling students selected from written submissions and interviews that are coordinated with each school. Students are encouraged to give talks and presentations on their experience.
