Tuesday 12th June,
from 9am to 6pm
Westside Resource Centre, Westside, Galway
Join us for a spinathon in aid of Self Help Africa on Tuesday June 12th!
Ronan Scully of Self Help Africa and James Coyne of Westside Resource Centre are looking for people to join them in a charity spinathon to raise funds for Self Help Africa’s work. The ‘Spinathon for Africa’ takes place on Tuesday, 12th of June 2018 and we have once again teamed up with Westside Resource Centre and Aidan Reade Cycle Club. This year we are taking on our greatest challenge to date…Galway Bay to Dublin Bay and back again… in just 6 hours!
We need your help to beat this challenge… and join in the fun. We are calling for volunteers to take part and you can get involved as a team with friends or colleagues or as an individual. Each participant will cycle for 15 minutes and they will then pass on the challenge to the next cyclist and be available to go at it again later in the day after some rest.
Does cycling in a spinathon on exercise bikes get your adrenaline pumping? If the answer is yes then why not consider signing up? Places are limited for this bucket list event! The location for the spinathon is Westside Resource Centre in Westside, Galway with the first two participants on standby to get cycling on at 9am sharp.
To secure your place we are asking all spinners to try and raise a minimum of €100 to do the cycle.
All funds raised will go towards the work of Self Help Africa and the charity will issue a receipt of payment. Self Help Africa is working in seven African countries.
