‘Songs for Africa’ takes place on Friday, 8th of June 2018 at 8pm in the Sacred Heart Parish Church in Westside, Galway and we have once again teamed up with the famous IGNITE Gospel Choir.

This year we are taking on our greatest challenge to date, with a gala concert to raise funds for the work of Self Help Africa in seven countries in Africa.

Songs for Africa will be an evening of songs, celebration and community spirit, which brings the famous Galway IGNITE Gospel Choir together with some new choirs and school choirs for a night benefiting the great work of Self Help Africa. Choirs that will be joining The Ignite Gospel choir on the night include The Knocknacarra School choir, the Castlegar School choir, The Bon’s Secour Hospital Choir and many more special guests organised under the amazing guidance of Keara Sheerin.

Contact ronan.scully@selfhelpafrica.org or on (087) 6189094 for more information. Tickets can be purchased at the Self Help Africa Office at Westside Resource Centre, Westside, Galway or from choir members. Tickets can also be purchased at the doors on the night of the concert.
