With over 250 staff worldwide and a global turnover of c.€20m, SHA has an ambitious five-year strategy with plans to double our income by 2021. Approximately 75% of SHA’s income is from institutional donors, and a dedicated five-person Programme Funding Team based in London is responsible for securing restricted and strategic funding across the Gorta Group (which includes SHA, Partner Africa and TruTrade). Increasingly SHA is responding to commercial contract opportunities from a range of funders and is looking to develop this income stream with a particular focus on DFID. In light of this, SHA is currently reviewing its structures and processes to ensure that it is best placed to win and manage contracts and would like to engage a consultant with experience of commercial contracting in the development sector to support this.
