The accountant assesses cost eligibility against contracts and donor guidelines, prepares financial reports, and maintains high standards of financial control in compliance with EU regulations and Self Help Africa (SHA) financial policies. Working closely with grant-aided companies, the Project\/Grants Accountant ensures they produce quality financial reports, perform reconciliations, and adhere to contract requirements and generally accepted accounting principles. Additionally, this role provides training to company accountants, conducts due diligence on third-party beneficiaries, manages grant disbursements, facilitates beneficiary account activities, and supports budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal controls. The Technical Manager is critical in performance monitoring of incubation and acceleration services facilitated by selected BDSPs to Startups and Micro &amp;amp; Small enterprises, including managing the Business Growth &amp;amp; Innovation Competition.
